|Description:||To assist shop personnel in the Repair and Re-certification of equipment in the Oil and Gas industry to validate conformance to quality specifications. Duration of the work week may be 50 hours, and may require some late night and weekend work to meet strict deadlines. |
|Duties:||Essential Functions Uses a variety of hand tools (hammer, screwdriver, wrenches)
Uses a variety of air tools (etcher, die grinder, impact wrench) Uses a Power Washer.
Additional Functions Uses a forklift to transport parts. Uses hoists to lift parts. Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Performs all other duties as assigned. Works cooperatively with all co-workers and colleagues. Provides leadership through example and sharing of knowledge and skills.|
High School diploma or GED. Oilfield experience would be helpful for identifying product, but not necessary.
Ability to work with hand tools, hoist, forklifts, computers and some machining machines. Perform routine maintenance on equipment. Understanding written information in work related documents. The ability to tell when somethig is wrong or likely to go wrong. Use of logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclussions or approches to problems.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body, able to reach overhead, able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, squatting; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance for extended periods of time. Be able to lift, pull and push material and equipment to complete assigned job tasks. Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight throughout assigned workday if required. Be able to operate a forklift (if required) and other motor vehicles. Exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes and odors. Moderate to heavy physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily production environment. The work environment characteristics here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
